A bottled aromatic explosion in a shape of orange wine!
Los Tabaqueros is the name of the vineyard plot were the majority of the grapes for this wine are grown: Listán Blanco, Vijariego, Sabro and Malvasia Aromatica. This is by far our favourite wine from Llanos Negros.
Winemaking notes: the grapes were macerated before their fermentation in stainless steel tank, afterwards the wine spent 9 months on the lees in the tank, and it was left for further aging for almost 8 years until it's bottling in 2015.
Our tasting notes: light amber color, the nose is an astonishing aromatic explosion with layers of aromas, predominating dried peach, tropical fruits, flower honey. On the palate is is nicely structured and flavourful, really good acidity with smooth tannins and overwhelming ripe white melon and passion fruit notes towards a mineral-briney finish. Pairs well with a good company!
An exclusive rarity as there were only 1.800 bottles filled.
