  • La Tablada is the name of the plot wherd e the rare grapes Gual and Sabro are grown. These two varieties are of an ancient origin and their plantations in the Canary islands are microscopic having in mind that Canary vineyards are of a very limited surface area compared to any mainland winemaking region. As usual for Llanos Negros labels, the vines are over 80 years old and are planted on the volcanic soils, covered with black "sand" (in reality it is nothing else but volcanic rock crushed into tiny bits).

Winemaking noes: skin contact in stainless steel tanks before the fermentation starts; after separating the skins during the fermentation the wine is racked into French oak barrels where it finishes the process. Aged in the same barrels on the lees for 9 months.

Our tasting notes: lovely dark golden color, perfumed nose with a wide array aromas from mineral towards herbal like sweet chamomile, to buckwheat. On the palate it is more structured, soft tannin sensation on the tongue, very good acidity, tropical fruit notes and sweet vanilla, interwoven with minerality and soft saltiness in the finish. Goes well with grilled fish and seafood!
