La Batista is a single vineyard white wine made of Malvasia Aromatica, a very typical Canarian grape variety. Harvested late, the grapes spent over 10 hours macerating before the fermentation started in stainless steel tanks. Afterwards it was racked into big oak barrels and spent there some 8 months for fining. It is a greatly aromatic wine, with delicious aromas and nice texture which reminds skin contact wines.
Vines are over 100 years old, planted on volcanic soils, 350-420 m above sea level.
