Wenzel's label "Wild & Free" are for skin contact, orange and completely natural wines. Only a small amount of SO2 is added before bottling (20 mg).
"Tauchgang" means "Diving" and this is the name the winemaker chose to call this bold interpretation of a classic French grape variety, for wine lovers who seek for new experiencies and different tasting wines.
This chardonnay was fermented on the skins for 14 days; 80% destemmed and 20% whole cluster berries. Afterwards the wine was aged for over a year in a sandstone amphorae. 1200 bottles made.
