Marko Skin is a new label from Oxer Bastegieta (2nd vintage), and this 2019 vintage is made of 2 local grape varieties commonly used for txakoli wines: 50% Hondarribi Zuri Zerratia (also known as Petit Courbu in France) and 50% Hondarribi Zuri (also known as Gros Courbu). The grapes went through skin contact fermentation in a clay vessel (tinaja or amphora made by Padilla), afterwards it spent 7 months in big French oak barrels.
Natural wine making approach, no fining or clarification, this orange wine has a great bottle aging potential.
