  • Singular Verdejo! Pre-phylloxera / ungrafted vineyard, whole clusters are fermented for 2 months in Tinaja (Spanish Amphora). Afterwards the wine is aged for 10-12 months in a barrel plus 10 last months in a small stainless steel tank. Production is of 1 barrel per year.

    Sight

    Coppery, wide clear rim.

    Aromas

    Citrus, peach, jasmin flower, white pepper, cinnamon, varnish, ferment (needs airing/decanting for releasing its aromas).

    Taste

    High acidity, medium sugar and alcohol, medium tannin. Quite vertical attack with apple and very ripe pear notes. Long finish with ripe fruit notes. A truly authentic Verdejo!
